Hi Diana,
Thanks for the welcome!  I think I remember you from the FMS email
lists....I too have fibromyalgia and osteoarthritis.  Definitely
not fun!

For several years I have been doing less gardening but
I love the color.  Hubby planted some roses and we have lots of
perrenials but I love the color of annuals.  So in the spring I
sit at my picnic table....weather and pain permitting....and
transplant annuals into pots to put here and there.  Gives me
instant color and smiles.  But I still overdo it and sometimes
just end up buying the pots with plants in them already.  And, if
I wait long enough I can get them cheap at K-Mart.  :o)

We also have a couple rock gardens with flowering sedum & stuff
...to which we add begonias, salvia and dusty miller.  And we've
acquired a couple small "statues" to add some interest....hubby
and son carried these....not me!  Anyway, next summer hubby is
planning to dig up our largest rock garden which has gotten away
from us.  Any tips on how to incorporate a herb/flower/rock garden
...and  with stuff that grow in partial shade?  Figure I might as
well start planning while the snow is flying.  :o)

BTW,  my computer needs upgrading before I can do live chat.
Figure I'll wait for Windows 98 since I never got the 95 version.
Sorry!  And wondering if from time to time you could include a
column from your Enabling Gardener Website here on the list?
