Hi,
My curiosity made me to try the mail order in a garden magazine and they
mailed me these living things: lily of the valleys, carnations, canterbry
bell, and sweet lavender with their roots, begonia and peacock orchid
in bulbs, and finally wild flower and forget-me-not seeds. I live now in
a flat w/o much sun even though I move to my new townhouse in May.
I bought couple of gro lights (they are expensive!) and planted the above
last night but I am not sure whether I am doing the right thing especially
the bulbs. Should I start the bulbs in water first or wait until I move
and plant them in the backyard ? Some of the plants are quite dry and
I wonder if they would survive... How much gro lights should I give them
a day ? the temperatures ? Can I burn them ? I used premium pot mix
for seed germination etc. I think the drainage is good.
Thanks much.
Jae.
