I'm sure it's just an e-mail thing that's caught on because it's just
easier to type. Don't feel bad, Vera, because it looks a little strange
to me too (and I'm 27) even though I'm used to it now. I think it's
because it just cuts down on typing time, like all the acronyms do
(IMHO, LOL, etc). I don't do it because I'm obsessive about the
spelling and grammar in my own posts, and of all the people I know
I'm the one with the most time on her hands. :)
