Bulb plantings?

Hi, there -

I am wondering what I've done wrong.  I received some bulbs in the mail
about two weeks ago and potted them last weekend.  It's now been about eight
days and not a sign of anything!  I have cyclamen, oxalis and daffodils.  I
just put them in pots with plenty of vermiculite and some bulb fertilizer
and soil and watered them.  Do I need to put them in certain light?  Keep
them a certain temperature?  How can I tell what's going on in the pots?  I
hope I didn't kill them already, I was really looking forward to new flowers
in my apartment!
