I would not try to grow citrus from seed although I have a 28 year old
grapefruit tree which I love bec. my son stuck his grapefruit seed in a pot
and it grew. The reason is that often the fruit is sterile and will not bear
fruit. (my son's doesn't but is kept for sentimental reasons). Also regular
citrus trees are probably too large for indoors. Try to find dwarf
varieties. Lemon Meyeri from Logees has done well for me producing at least
3 or 4 large lemons a year. Batya Levin, Bronx, NY
