I haven't tried it but have read of people installing lights in this way for
tall plants. The problem I see is you would have to install enough lights
so no side of the plant would be in shadow.
I don't see it working very efficiently for small plants but it's worth a
try. I know it's sometimes hard to find a four foot place to install them
and the two foot lights are not very efficient.
Light just went on! Just occurred to me that the two foot ones, set
vertically might work without waste for small plants.
Don't know if this is any help.
