Hi Shirley,
I bought a peace lily not too long ago and did some research on its care.
Peace lilies like a LOT of humidity, otherwise the tips turn brown and dry.
I keep mine in the bathroom, where it's constantly steamed up and happy. If
the environment is kept moist, the soil can be allowed to dry out in between
waterings. They also like to be potbound, so they should not be repotted
very often. The bright indirect light is good, it will help make blossoms,
but it actually thrives quite well in not so bright places as well.
Hope this helps,
Regards,
Donna
