Tulips?

Hello, I've just subscribed to the list in the hopes of finding out more
about the plants I've bought and how to care for them. I bought a pot of
tulips, 4 bulbs just yesterday, and am thinking of re-potting it? What kind
of soil do Tulips need? A look at the existing soil I see it to be very
sandy. I've checked out the web pages, and it write loamy, but what is the
exact composition and type?

Also, when can I separate the bulbs and plant one bulb in one pot? Is it ok
for me to do that? Or do the Tulips need to be grown together? I do not have
a garden, so my Tulips will be grown solely from pots. Please advise. Or
direct me to the homepage that has all the details. Thanks.
