I was just wondering if anyone here has ever been able to keep a Gardenia
plant growing indoors (sans greenhouse, I mean). I have tried a couple of
times, but they don't seem to last past a few months. They always seem to
contract some sort of ailment (once was mealybugs, another time the leaves
just started to drop off). I would really love to try again, as I find the
scent to be one of the most delicious!!
And what about daturas - has anyone ever grown one indoors successfully?
(Yes, I know that they are terribly poisonous, but I would be extremely
vigilant in keeping it away from furry little loved ones)
And with all this talk about clivias, I have always been fascinated by them
but never able to find them in any of the mail order houses in Canada -
does anyone know of a place that does sell them by mail order? - Canada or
US (dollar exchange, duty and custom charges be damned!!)
Thanks!
