Re: Compost.
Dear Leyda:
Besides my outdoor compost pile that isn't doing super this winter
because it is too dry, I also have a can of worms condo arrangement
going in the support room of my greenhouse. The non smelly red wigglers
handle quite a bit of my kitchen compost. The kitchen waste becomes worm
compost every three weeks. They're inside because red wiggler worms
need temperatures above 40 in winter.
The very thought of worms makes my husband laugh nervously but
really, they're not too difficult.
Since the can of worms doesn't accommodate all my kitchen wastes I'm
toying with getting another can of worms.
