I had a tibouchina which flowered, not great but something.  It lost all it's
leaves which I seemed to remember from other years.  It had little green
things at the nodes which could have been developing leaves.  But they all
died.  I have repotted it and kept watering but it seems to be sticks only
now.  Oh yes, I also tried to prune it to make its sprawl more manageable.  Is
it worth keeping?  What afflicts tibouchinas and seems to get to them, causing
leaf loss and death (except me)?   Batya Levin, Bronx, NY
