Laura, my sympathies. Happened to me years ago when I was out of town when
the power went out on a subfreezing night. Lost almost everything in the
greenhouse.
My best advice would be to put your av's in a warm place, good light, but
no direct sun. Don't water unless they are dry, and don't fertilize til
they are actively growing again. Provide humidity. And good luck. If you
are left with a lot of stalk and a few leaves, you might cut them off in
the spring and try rooting them.
