Hi guys,
I'm new to the list, and I wanted to introduce myself, briefly. I am
recently back to indoor gardening after a long time. I'm an avid outdoor
gardener, and I was thrilled to be able to meet Roger Swain, from The
Victory Garden and Horticulture Magazine, this past weekend.
I have a question regarding the bay laurel (Laurus nobilus). I recently
bought one, and I was wondering if anyone has had any success in growing
them indoors. They are not hearty in my climate for outdoors, and must be
either brought in in the winter, or grown inside. I had one that didn't
survive, and as they tend to be a bit pricey, I would like some advice about
how to pot them for the best growth, and light/water requirements.
Also, I would like to bring some plants into my bathroom, but I have no
windows to provide outside light. Can someone suggest plants that would do
well under those circumstances, or offer lighting suggestions?
Thanks,
Jennifer
