Ruth;
Actually, sounds like you may have the same one I do! How did you handle
the seeds? Plant them entire, or try and separate them from their "fruit"
covering. Or does that go away as the fruits mature (last year I had seed
set also, but removed them to keep the plant vigorous, so never saw them
mature).
Mine is still (after two years) in its original cheap plastic hanging
pot..I'm considering repotting it (since it doesn't really hang) in a nice
clay pot with better drainage and aeration. Unsure though, of best potting
mix. I use Promix amended with extra perlite (about 1 part Perlite to 4
parts ProMix) for my Christmas/T'giving cacti..The promix alone seems to
hold too much water for these guys and they never seem to dry. Anything
better to recommend?
Gerry (Hot, humid, hazy again today. Waiting for Danny to move north and
give us some blessed rain, though not as much as they're getting in Mobile
this am)
