Gerry,
This sounds fabulous! I have two staghorns I am growing indoors. The oldest
has a spread of about 4 feet wide, but it is very narrow. It is really two
plants growing in opposite directions from the original little basket in the
middle. As they have grown, I have stuffed the clasping fronds with spagnum
moss. It gets showered in the bathtup every couple of weeks. Does anyone
fertilize their staghorns? I had read that it could kill them, so haven't,
and it has survived many 15 years without. Is this the right way to go?
