Re: New subscriber
Hi,
Welcome to the list.
I have had success with Kalanchoes also. I keep mine in a west window all
year long. It has been blooming about 8 or 9 months out of the year for the
past three yrs. It's about 2 ft. tall and very easy to propagate.
I keep it on the dry side and use weak fertilizer solution every watering.
I use a soil mix with a lot of peat in it.
Try Kalanchoes as they are quite easy and will reward you handsomely.
I also have a pelargonium named 'Yours Truly' which is also kept in a west
window, that blooms practically all year round. It is the only pelargonium
I have that blooms that freely.
You may also want to check out some of the bromeliads. They have an exotic
look that I particularly like.
Happy growing.
