To John & Pat Adney & anyone else interested:
There is another discussion group called: Seeds-list@eskimo.com
which discusses propagation but you can put out a notice that you swap
seeds & that anybody interested can contact you directly, instead of to
the list. The proprietor of the list wishes to discuss propagation
only and people who are interested in swapping post to the entire list,
requesting that they contact them privately.
There is also a young man from Norway who has a website devoted
solely to seeds, seed-swapping, etc and you can visit the site at:
http://home.sol.no/asles/seedsour.htm
I have posted to the seeds-list discussion group with no hassle on
swapping as long as I ask people to contact me directly as the
list-owner wants to use the list strictly for propagation. Hope this
answers your questions on seed-swapping. P.S. I am a seed-swapper also,
interested in tropical flowering trees, shrubs and vines. Judy Showers
