I do not grow Orchids, but am thinking about trying one sometime this
year. The Des Moines Botanical Garden really has a very nice orchid
display. Some grow out of pots attached to a stone wall with water
running down it (and a clever little irrigation system from the wall to
the pots), and some seem to root into the cracks between the stones
themselves, with the bulk of the plant suspended by what looks like
green bonzai wire. :)
