I grow a few peace lilies (Spathiphyllum). Mine have never turned
yellow and died, but I can tell you how I grow mine since they seem
to do really well. I have to admit I don't do a lot with mine. I never
leach them, I feed them a weak solution of plant food (whatever I have
on hand) every once in a while, and I do water them often since they
don't like to dry out. Don't let them get waterlogged, though. Don't
put them in direct sunlight either. I have one that blooms continuously
in bright indirect light, and another one in low light in the bedroom that
rarely blooms but has very lush foliage.
I wish I could tell you why yours are yellowing and dying. Could be too
much direct sunlight is burning them, too much fertilizer, bugs....I don't
know! The leaves on mine usually turn black when they are damaged
or dying.
