re: orchids & exotics

Generally, it is NOT a good idea to grow mounted orchids indoors.  It
just doesn't work.  They need much more humidity than those trays can
provide.  For the house, you'll want only potted orchids, in a pourous
medium that provedes air and the right ammount of moisture for the plant
(rel. to your watering habits, of course).
