when I was growing up we had what we called the Piggyback plant. It would
grow with slender stightly succulent leaves with plantlets in rows on each
edge. They would drop off and soon there would be a regular forrest of
those plants. I have no idea what family they belong to nor what the
proper name is. Sorry and good luck.
