Since the list is so slow, I'm going to ask a few questions. I'm not asking
the orchid listserve because I only get it about once a month, and the
digest form is really hard to wade through.
1) I have a keiki growing off the top of my mini dendrobium. What should I
do with it? Can I just cut it off and throw it away? I don't really want
to keep it for propagation (as if I'd know what to do with it!).
2) When do you stop giving growth food and start giving bloom food? Do you
wait until the new growth is full size, or do you wait even longer than that
until a spike starts forming? My orchids are growing like mad but aren't
re-blooming (except for a few flowers on my supermarket mini dendrobium last
fall). They sit in a west window and get at least 5-6 hours of full sun a
day (when we do get sun here in Oregon).

And then I think, "Aw, who cares?" And then I think,
