Re: growing gingers
I am now trying to grow alpinia purpurata from a root (rhizome or
something like that). It has been in soil for a month now and still no
growth. I read somewhere that they are very hard to bring into flower
indoors. I would also like to have further info on this plant and other
gingers. They are not mentioned in my books.
