  Hi,
       I grow Gingers & Kaempferias (spelling?) in my greenhouse in winter
& outdoors in summer. The Kaempferias go dormant and I back off on
watering so frequently.  The gingers don't like a lot of sunlight so I try
to grow them in semi-shade.  Hope this helps. Judy Showers (greenhouse
