I have a columnea that I bought in flower in August 1997. I had to cut
it back a lot and completely cut off some stems because of underwatering
( the plant still has quite a few good stems and the stems I cut back
are still around 1ft long). This drastic trimming was done about 5
months ago. I know it will grow back but, I was wondering, will it
flower again soon? It hasn't flowered since the incident. Can I induce
flowering? And how? The plant is healthy and is receiving proper
(columnea) care. The type I own is columnea baskii and it should be in
flower all year round if given proper care.
If anyone knows what to do your reply would be helpful.
Thanx in advance.
