How about bouganvilla (how do you spell that anyway?) It is a vine that
needs some sort of support or trellis, and has beautiful flowers.  One
variety I saw had varigated leaves.

I have a Christmas cactus that looks like Sideshow Bob!  I wonder if anyone
has a plant that looks like Bart or Lisa??
