Air circulation is also important but usually small fans move enough
air. Another factor you should consider is whether the particular plant
is day light sensitive; some tomatoes varieties are day neutral.
I'm getting ready to move a bunch of things outside but I have
various kinds of lettuce, watercress, sorrel, spinach, cress, parsley
growing inside.
Shane Smith's Greenhouse has a good timeline for when to plant which
vegetables.
Just start some seeds and try.
