I am having a problem with millipedes and centipedes in the soil of my
Dieffenbachia Maculata (Dumb Cane). They are dark, slow and coil when
disturbed.
Last night, I saw two of them on top the soil I sprayed them with an
insecticidal soap as suggested by a nursery. They died. I was curious to
know if I should take them out of the soil or just leave them in the soil?
Secondly, I would think that eggs were probably laid or that there maybe
more ... how do I prevent the eggs from hatching or kill others living in
the soil.
My thought would be to either soak the soil with the insecticidal soap or to
repot it using a fresh media. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
