[INDOOR-GARDENING:259] RE: Spathiphylums
Hi Jess and Other Listers
I am new to this list - from South Africa. I think I walked in in the tail
end of your discussion on Spathiphylums -- please forgive me if I am
repeating what's already been said.
According to my boyfriend (the horticultural drop-out - he advises, I
water!) if the tips are crackly and dry, then it's probably because the
plant is standing in a draught. You could try moving it away from any
breezy areas. It's probably the same as what Kris was saying about
humidity. Mine's in my bathroom and is just about ready to take over the
place. If the leaves are soft and browned at the edges, my
ever-knowledgeable other half says, very helpfully, then "it can be a whole
lot of stuff.."
Hope your Spathi is restored to full green glory soon.
Christa
