I've been lurking in the backgriund, enjoying
the discussions about a wide diversity of topics. Lots of expertise out
there and your comments are much appreciated.
I have several varieties of epiphyllums growing
in hanging baskets near, but not in, east- and south-facing windows.
Recently I have noticed that some of the edges of the plants are turning gray in
color, and appear dried out, crisp to the touch. This drying may progress
across the plant and the piece may fall off. There is no indication
of any kind of infestation. Also, how do you get the epiphyllums to
bloom? I've waited several years with no results. Your help is
appreciated.
