Help!!!
I am quite new to this whole responsible for the growth and life of
something else, and I have three little succulent cacti (I hope this falls
under this list, weren't we talking about the living rock earlier?) I
have three succulents in a 6" plastic pot. The directions that I have say
to soak it once a month, I got it the end of February, and I did this
starting March 1st. Now remember I am new to this.... I went to my kitchen
sink, put the plug in, filled it up about half way up the pot, pored a bit
of water on the top, and let it sit for about 5 min. I am sure that there
is a ton of problems with what I just described, but that is not the
problem.... He He.... Last night I came home and noticed that all three
of them were very wiggly. I mean that the soil was very low, and the base
of the plant was not being supported. So I filled the pot up a bit more
with soil, did the ritual soaking, and put it outside so that it would get
real sun today, instead of looking at real sun through the window.
Have a killed my babies? Is that looseness part of the plant, and I
shouldn't have given it more soil? Any suggestions would be helpful. I
only know the common name for two of the plants, one is a living stone, one
is a rainbow plant, and the third looks like a skinny, very pokey artichoke.
Thank you for your time,
Jessica Boof Wilson
