Nancy was thinking of spraying the leaves of her african violet with
fertalizer. This seems like a really bad idea to me because these plants
don't like their leaves getting wet. I was told that most plants with hairy
leaves shouldn't get their leaves wet. I was also told this was one of the
main reasons for watering AVs from the bottom.
