It's wonderful for plants. We run our dehumidifier non-stop from
November to May, and on really wet days it takes a gallon of water
a day from the air, with plenty of humidity left over to grow plants (we
run it mostly in the bedrooms anyway). The water that comes out
of the dehumidifier is about as pure as you can get.
