Humm maybe I made a mistake in my post awhile ago saying I have a
Stapelia hirsuta because today the "hirsuta" bloomed and it looks way
different than the flowers last year (the flowers were dark red)! The plant
stems look the same (so I don't think there's any other species in the
pot). Maybe some one could give a shot at figuring it what species I do have!
velvety stems are from 8-14"
flower is 11" across
maroon inner hairs and white outer (on the edges of the petals) hairs
light cream/green with maroon bands.
I'm thinking S. Gigantea?
