Jean:

According to my reference book the botanical name of your plant is Gibasis
geniculata. There's a mouthful! It's also called Tahitian bridal veil
which may be the reason you couldn't find it.

It's a relative of Wandering Jew so will be fast growing. The book
recommends removing any stems which lose their leaves so new growth can come
from the bottom. At any rate, like Wandering Jew it needs to be restarted
from cuttings when the base becomes woody. A bright window is fine. It
likes warm temps and humidity.

I've never grown it myself so can only offer the book recommendations.

Hope this helps.
