Hi Susan,
We have had a Feral Cats project around here for some years now. What
happens is, over a prolonged period, the ferals are taken away by an animal
rescue charity, neutered then returned to their natural habitat; the
long-term aim being the eradication of the feral.
Obviously, not everyone is in agreement with this policy as some see the
feral condition as natural. But, in an urban area, feral cats have
difficulty with food supplies and usually have to rely on the local
community for their supply. Just wondered if you had thought of setting-up
your own project and maybe you could find a sympathetic vet to undertake
the neutering. Obviously, you would need a bit of support with this.
Best wishes,
Jan
