Animals & veggies & fans & light (was Re: Intro)

Hi, Susan:

The wellpet list does tend to discuss dogs more than cats and volume is high
(up to 100 messages/day) - but if you have specific questions, I'd be happy
to forward them to the list for you. Hi to Jan too! While wellpet promotes
natural treatment of animals, the focus is on natural feeding and health
care. The majority of members strongly support spay/neuter programs -
homeless animals dodging cars & eating out of garbage cans certainly aren't
living anything close to a natural life. I liken controlling animal
populations to controlling weeds: sure, you could argue that it's "natural"
for Canadian thistle to propogate madly in my pastures - but I'll be darned
if I'm gonna' let nature take that particular course!!

Hey to Frank also. I may take a while to let you know about my indoor
garden - at the moment it's just a few large containers with radish, lettuce
& chive beginning to sprout. But the transplanted oregano & rosemary have
perked right up, and of course, the mint didn't miss a beat.

First question. Way back, during my decadent youth I (blush) grew marijuana
indoors and I remember that it grew better with a fan gently blowing on the
wee plants - maybe because a gentle wind more closely simulates outdoor
conditions? Just wondering if I should train a fan on the little veggies?

Thanks

Chris
