This is for sujan & any others that are interested. I have two
Nepenthes and they are potted up in peat moss, maybe with a little sand
thrown in, I water STRICTLY with rainwater which I save all summer
(enough to make 55 gallons which lasts me over the winter), and water
ONLY with rainwater. I do not fertilize the plant but it is hung up
near the upper part of the greenhouse where it gets sun. Hope this
helps. P.S. There is a listserve for Carnivorous plants but I forget
