Claire,
Another suggestion..If your Plumeria does root and put out new growth
(which may take weeks) don't force it into dormancy this year, but keep it
going in a bright window all winter. At least, that's the advice given in
the Plumeria Handbook (I think) and it has always worked for me. I have a
new Dwarf Singapore that is just beginning to leaf out and grow roots after
several weeks in perlite, and although the others I have will be gently put
to sleep in a month or so, this one I'll carry over the winter in my
greenhouse without drying it down.
