Hi:
I've just been told by my doctor that I now have
rheumatoid arthritis. That is why I have been loosing
my grip in my hads and my last two fingers aren't
working like they should. This is added to
fibromyalgia and carpal tunnel. I am having to limit
my work week to 25 hours or less. More is impossible.
Very discouraging to me but gives me more time to
develop a writing career.
By the way, if any of you would like to see a picture
of me, please check out page 94 of April 26 Business
Week and you will find my smiling face while I hold up
a pot of sempervivums!
For me, sad to say, troughs are simply out of the
question now. Somewhere I read about using sandbeds to
sink just pots of alpines--something they called "buns"
in. Would someone help me figure out where I might
have seen this information? I would like to know what
types of plants might be content to grow permanently in
just a pot sunk into a sandbed. It may have been a
book for the local university library. I just can't
put my finger on it.
Hope I am using the right term here. If not, some of
you oldtimers, please correct me and tell me what I
should be asking about!
By the way, the Jesus virus has turned out to be a
hoax. Thanks to members from various lists, I now have
several websites to check out these hoaxes at. After
watching a 16 year old boy cry last year because he
opened some attachment from someone he barely new and
helplessly watched his harddrive get reformatted, I
can't take chances. Having to deal with the happy.exe
trojan program which resulted in my having to reinstall
the windows 98 upgrade on my own has made me really
nervous.
I am going to implement a rule on all my email groups
that no attachments are allowed in any form. Does
anyone know if pictures as attachments could really
cause problems? I think it would be nice to be able to
send pictures if it can be done safely.
