Re: How is the summer treating you?

Hi Diana et al

Being in 'plastics', I should point out that the tools required to make such
a trough are extremely expensive. We are talking in thousands. To make it a
viable proposition, any manufacturer would expect excellent returns on his
investment. I'm not sure there is such a large market for non-decorative
troughs. There are some plastic troughs already on the market but these tend
to be decorative i.e. with lions heads and gargoyles and things. There are
also some simulated terracotta troughs available too.

For anyone interested in troughs in general, might I point out the new book
by Joyce Fingerut and Rex Murfitt  "Creating & Planting Garden Troughs".
