Hi all,
While this has little to do with rock gardens, I just wanted to share
my enjoyment of the spring primulas flowering like crazy in my garden.
This is a real case of making the best use of what works for your
particular garden conditions - I bought four plants from the big
(sometimes expensive) local nursery three years ago and now I have 62
plants around the garden in clumps. Their cream flowers with yellow
centres makes my soggy North facing garden look bright and cheerful
and have made me bounce around the garden looking at all the buds
swelling in preparation for the summer.
Has anyone any tips on how to make sure my hardy cyclamen seedlings
make it through to flowering age ( when is that anyway?). The parent
bulb rotted over the damp year & I don't want to lose the seedlings
that have appeared.
