Re: clotilde soupert

I have climbing Clotilde Soupert, planted last year in Z 7, Atlanta. It has
a tendency to ball in humid or rainy weather, but take heart, Atlanta is
like a steam bath in the summer and I hear this is not usually a problem in
cooler climates. Last year about a third of its blooms were lost to this,
but this year her first bloom opened yesterday despite some rainy weather
lately. I also recommend you keep up with spraying against thrips if they
are a problem where you live. Otherwise she's beautiful!

Antique Rose Emporium carries both the regular and climbing forms. I have
bought a lot of plants there as they have a second location near Atlanta and
have always been pleased. this address is their main location in TX.
Unfortunately, they are not on the web.
