[Rose-list] The Beginning

We have always wanted to try root cuttings but had not the foggiest idea 
where to begin so we hope to hear a lot on this topic although we have 
little input.

Really wanted to try Therese Bugnet but ended up going with Hansa. Used 
the Fairy on a hillside exposure with only mixed results but hope for 
better this year. Still too early to tell as things are just barely 
leafing out.

We have tried numerous perennials in with roses and always ended up 
taking them out although we do use some of the brighter Floribundas like 
Impatien or Pure Poetry in front of the white, Phlox David. Actually we 
are looking for another bright red or dark orange Floribunda, any 
suggestions?
