RE: [Rose-list] Re: Miniature roses - Spider Mites

Hi,

It sounds like you could have had spider mites. They seem to love minis.
The symptoms are as you describe: "leaves curled, turned brown". The spider
mites are tiny and congregate on the undersides of the leaves. Eventualy,
they produce fine webs. They can be eliminated fairly easily by a strong
spray of water to the undersides of the leaves, repeated every few days
until they are gone.

How much sun do they get? Also how often do you water them and how. We
tried this and they just seemed to burn up in the heat, leaves curled,
turned brown, etc.
