Re: [Rose-list] How to train a climbing rose?


Hal - I am not a rose expert by no means...actually just started with roses 
Cecil Brunner (climber).  I was told by a women in Cal with many, many roses 
that you do not prune a climber until after they bloom.  They usually bloom 
from old wood.  I keep mine pruned off the botton area then just use wire 
attached to wood of green house and just make a few waves thru the wire.
