Re: Rose Newsgroup

Uh......yes. I'm quite familiar with the newsgroup. I prefer a list server
for a variety of reasons. The most important being the spamming. My
parents were visiting and I decided to show them the wonders of online
computing. After the 'Net ("Ooooooohhh!!") and e-mail ("Aaaaahhhhh!!!!") I
decided (without thinking!) to show them the newsgroups. Bad idea. "Little
Miss Muffet" had done a lot of posting that day and she wasn't talkin' 'bout
her tuffet, if you catch my drift.

While it would be almost impossible to shock me, the looks on my parents
faces was heartbreaking. I used to find the porn spamming annoying; now I
cringe.
