I also have given up on hybrid teas and love the shrub roses.  The
Bonica does the best for me.  I got it from Park Seed.  I got several of
the other colors but they didn't survive the winters like the Bonica
did.  The red is beautiful and I wish that it had lived.  I keep trying
but with no luck.  I live in Saline Michigan, zone 5
