Hello everybody,
This is my first time at posting on a list, so hope I am doing things
right. I would like some information on growing roses from seed. At what
stage should the hips be harvested and what is the best procedure to follow
for germination?
I am fairly new to rose growing, but have found it very addictive, very
quickly. We are heading rapidly towards Spring here in New Zealand, and
this is our pruning time, so any spare moment is spent out in the garden
attempting to get some shape into my fairly shapeless bushes. Last summer
was rather disastrous in our area, cold and very wet, and the garden was a
disappointment, so I'm hoping for much better things this year.
Thanks in advance for any information on growing from seed.
Glennys
