Hi Carleen and all.
These are hybrid teas that are in containers which actually were planted by
their previous owner with the union joint flush with the soil level. So
that must be the problem. They are old guys and a bit neglected. When I
got them I just fed them and didn't repot them. Maybe that's what I should
do. Does anyone know if this would be a dumb thing to do?...repotting at
this time of year???
It's not my new Gallica. Actually I'm rather looking forward to my Gallica
(Apothecary Rose) becoming a little invasive. It was so lovely when it
bloomed a couple of months ago that I gave up my grudge against it for
being a one time bloomer..

P.S. I found the mysterious disappearing seed packet from my R. Canina
Seeds and it says to stratify for 60 -90 days.
